I graduated from the Musashino Academy of Music in Japan, one of the top Music University's in the country. Following this I was a Piano teacher at the Yamaha School of Music in Tokyo for over 10 years as well as teaching from home outside of my work at Yamaha.
I am an experienced teacher who gives high quality lessons and am very enthusiastic about seeing the success of my pupils! I can teach ABRSM Grades up to grade 8 piano and grade 5 theory. Anyone who wants to enjoy playing and studying piano music is most welcome.
I can also offer sessions for children from 3 and a half years old until they start primary school. In this case I can give lessons which include Piano, Rhythm and singing. Mum, Dad or another family member will need to sit in with their child for the duration of the lesson. If you wish for your child to gain perfect pitch that could be included too. The lessons for perfect pitch is limited from 3 and a half years up to 5 years old simply because this is the best possible time to attain this ability.
Correspondence (by post) for assistance in the theory of music examinations is also welcome from anywhere in the UK.
Piano Lessons can be offered between 11 am to 3 pm Monday - Friday (I can't offer any other times, sorry).
