Lisanne Otten (23) is a professional pianist/bass guitarist recently graduated with a BA (hons) Music from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.

Originally from the Netherlands, Lisanne is a classically trained musician on the piano (grade 8 with distinction, and grade 8 theory).

At LIPA I she been very active in musical theatre, jazz, rock and pop as a rehearsal pianist, keyboardist, bassist and as an MD.
As well as working as a professional gigging musician, Lisanne is currently studying for a CTTLS on the Music Educator program at Access to Music in Birmingham.

Recent experience includes playing solo and background piano-music at various hotels and restaurants including at the Wintergardens and Bottelino's restaurants in the South-West; doing payed gigs with my jazz & latin band the Mojo Cats on the Grand Pier as well as rock, disco and 80's function bands in the South-West (including a Sting and the Police tribute band); MD and pianist for a touring cabaret show which also ran in the Jermyn Street Theatre in London's West End; student teacher in the music department at All Saints Catholic school in London, playing for the Weston Youth Orchestra and playing/md-ing in musicals such as Little Women, Chess and dance shows at LIPA.

Due to her versatile music experience, Lisanne can offer a range of styles in her lessons, from classical to jazz and from latin to rock.
Lisanne is patient and dedicated to students having fun during their playing as well as learning vital skills to become a confident, creditable musician.
