I have been teaching Piano since 2000, and have lots of experience. I am very patient with a good sense of humour. I teach up to Grade 8. I have had all sorts of pupils and used to teach in schools as well as at home. I am reasonably priced. I am 45 , and live in Earls Barton and teach at home, except for Wellingborough based pupils. I can teach keyboard or piano, but prefer piano. I have a favourite set of books to use, but will use a range of materials to suit the pupil. Lessons are very structured, broken into 3 areas, scales, pieces and other, which is theory, music history or composition. I have put over 100 people in for exams and only one person failed. I do other things apart from play the piano, so am a well rounded individual. I am teaching myself to play the cello. Lessons can be 30 mins or 45 mins, and age 7 to any age as long as you can see and hear OK.
