Ron Binnie is a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music, and was brought up immersed in music in a musical household. With more than 30 year's experience behind him, Ron teaches mainly classical piano and theory to students of all ages. Ron teaches you in your own home on your own piano, so no need to travel. This is particularly helpful for young children who are more comfortable being taught in a familiar environment.

Learning the piano should be an enjoyable and relaxed experience, and students may be entered for exams, or just enjoy learning to play the piano for its own sake. Ron is happy to teach students of all ages, with beginners being particularly welcome.

Parents, particularly parents of young children, are welcome to stay with their children throughout each lesson, to help the lesson be relaxed and comfortable. This also enables the parent to work with the child to develop his or her learning at home between lessons.
