Well trained and experienced teacher available for piano and piano theory lessons. I am a Music Graduate, holding a BA Degree, Certificate of Teaching with the ABRSM and Post Graduate Teaching Qualifications in Music. I also hold a DipEd in education studies and child development.

I specialise in young beginners (although all learners are welcome) and use both the Kodaly and Dalcroze approaches to teaching and learning to develop high standards of musicianship and musical skills. I also hold the CSAK (Kodaly Teacher Training Programme) and LKME (Teaching License with Kindermusik).

In 2009 I became and Advanced Skills Teacher for Music and Music Education, and am now responsible for delivering training and development to local education authority teachers and schools. I am also a Music Medals Assessor for the ABRSM.

I have a long and successful history teaching piano in one to one and small group situations. Keyboard and ABRSM Musical Medals are also available.
