I am a qualified experienced teacher with a B.Mus degree specialising in teaching the piano but also teach theory of music and history and analysis of music. I enjoy teaching beginners from the age of 5 years and teach right through to Grade 8 and Diploma. My pupils are encouraged to participate in Music Festivals for performance experience but anyone who wants to learn for fun and their own enjoyment is very welcome too. I try to tailor my teaching to the individual whilst still covering all the essentials such as technique, sight reading, ensemble playing etc. I teach on a Bluthner grand piano in my own home studio.
