I am an experienced and highly qualified music and piano teacher.
Over the past twenty years, I have taught music and piano through from reception class level up to GCSE. I have taught both in a classroom situation as well as tutoring pupils in their own home.

My own experiences and qualifications are varied. I am classically trained and studied music at Lancaster University. This was followed by a teaching certificate from Huddersfield as well as two piano diplomas from the London College of Music. I teach to the Associated Board Exam syllabus mainly but do have students who wish to expand their musical repetoire and keyboarding knowledge of say, for example how to accompany and work with and use chords. I teach complete beginners to grade 8 of all ages.

I travel to the homes of my students so that they can have the lesson on the piano that they are practising on however I am also happy for pupils to come to me if they would rather do that.

I will have mid week evening and daytime spaces available from April 2012 onwards.
