Having gained my Degree in Music in 1987 I have been teaching ever since, both in the UK and abroad (Iceland).
My pupils range from 4 year olds to adults and all abilities.
I have taught one to one and groups of students, in schools and privately from home. Currently, I teach from home in Rotherham.
I use a range of teaching aids and prepare students for ABRSM and LCM exams if they wish. However, I am also happy to teach people who want to learn simply for the fun of it, as a hobby.
I teach piano and electric keyboard, catering for all styles from classical to popular. I also arrange pieces for students, especially if they want to learn a particular piece of music. With the advantage of perfect pitch and the Sibelius music writing package, anything is possible!
I teach on a weekly basis, with no need to book lessons in blocks in advance. £10 per half hour is my rate, although adults usually find an hour is more productive.
