I am a highly experienced and well-qualified piano teacher, teaching in my own studio on a Steinway Grand. I have been a member of the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA UK) for many years.

I enter students for all ABRSM grades (Classical & Jazz Piano), and Trinity Guildhall, and teach from beginner level (when suitable) to diploma level and beyond.

I am also the Classical Music Writer and Critic for The Herald (Plymouth), and a successful composer & arranger, with works performed worldwide, and at Birmingham's Symphony Hall, London's Royal Albert Hall, and the Waterfront in Belfast.

I was a secondary school Head of Music for over 25 years, and am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

As a Private Piano Teacher, as an individual I am not entitled to apply for a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check (see below); however, I have signed the EPTA’s 'List 99' declaration.
