I am passionate about teaching the piano!

I have spaces for keen, committed students of any age. My particular specialisation is with advanced students (Grade 8/Diploma upwards). I have a holistic approach which includes the ‘inner game’ of learning, letting go of mental and emotional habits, performance skills and overcoming playing problems such as RSI, tendonitis – see: www.performancebodywork.co.uk

I have been the Founder and Director of an international chamber music course endorsed by Sir Simon Rattle (“a stimulating and visionary course – I think it’s wonderful!”). I have performed nationally and internationally as a pianist and have taught at the Purcell School and the University of Hong Kong. I currently teach piano and coach chamber music primarily to music undergraduates at University of Oxford.
