Piano and keyboard teaching in friendly, good-humoured and patient style. All ages are welcome and learning can be for recreation purposes or examinations can be taken. Pupils have achieved success in their examinations with me and also enjoy their lessons. I like to encourage theory, as part of the learning process, which can actually be fun also. There is room to explore improvisation, and more modern styles in my lessons. Examinations can be taken with the Royal Schools of Music up to grade 8. Piano lessons are taken on my Yamaha piano, which has a lovely tone and touch. I do have a keyboard as well, but most people like my piano so much they soon convert!
