I welcome beginners whether of school age or adult as well as those returning to learning. I prepare those who wish for Trinity Guildhall exams-practical and theory. My aim is to help people to enjoy developing their musical skills within a friendly, encouraging and yet structured setting. I am an experienced and patient piano teacher. My background also includes social work, group music teaching in hospitals, day centres, and prison, musicianship lessons in a pre-school nursery based on the Kodaly approach, and school classroom teaching.
