Caroline Newton LTCL studied Piano, Flute and Harmony at Trinity College of Music on the Graduate course.

As a teacher with many years experience of working with children, I believe in giving pupils a good grounding in both practical playing and theory.

I prepare students for the ABRSM practical and theory exams if they wish to take them but this is not necessary for progress and enjoyment of the instrument.

Playing the piano gives a wonderful opening to music as well as providing a skill which will carry over into all other musical activities.

Although I specialise in teaching children, adults are also welcome.
