I graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire in 1996. I went on to complete an MMus at the University of Newcastle before training to become a teacher. I have been head of an impressive Music Department at a school in Birmingham for over 8 years and have had lesson graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted on serveral occasions. I am also in charge of Initial Teacher Training and play an important role in managing learning and teaching.

I am an experienced pianist and have successfully taught the piano for 16 years. I also offer lessons in music theory and can support individuals with all aspects of GCSE, BTEC, AS and A Level Music.
