I teach piano, music theory, composition, a-level coaching and Diploma (DipABRSM) in both piano and teaching. I teach people of all ages from beginner upwards. I have an honours degree in music and a diploma in piano playing, and I have been teaching in Southampton since 1986. I am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and I conduct a local choir, the Conchord Singers. I am also a singer and a composer.

So, a little about me. I have been teaching piano, alto saxophone and music theory for over 10 years. I believe all lessons should be fun, relaxed and rewarding and whether you are looking to play for fun or work towards exams, I'll help you achieve your goal. I enter students through the ABRSM examining board.

All ages and abilities welcome.

I mainly teach from home but am able to travel to students home if local.
