I teach piano, music theory, composition, a-level coaching and Diploma (DipABRSM) in both piano and teaching. I teach people of all ages from beginner upwards. I have an honours degree in music and a diploma in piano playing, and I have been teaching in Southampton since 1986. I am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and I conduct a local choir, the Conchord Singers. I am also a singer and a composer.

I was educated at Southampton University where I studied Music and German. I quickly developed an interest in jazz and taught myself jazz piano whilst continuing with my classical music studies.
