Renee Reznek is a passionate and committed teacher with 30 years of experience teaching children and adults privately from home . She also taught at Cambridge University for 20 years.Her results in Associated Board exams and scholarship auditions are excellent. She is a concert pianist with a particular interest in 20th Century music but is well schooled in more traditional repertoire.She arranges annual concerts for her students and feels that her own performing experience is of benefit to them.
Renee prefers a relaxed and informal atmosphere and an approach tailored to meet the diverse aims, abilities and ages of her students.
Renee holds a Bachelor of Music degree(University of CapeTown),Masters degree in Piano Performance and Masters degree in Music History (Uni of Ann Arbor USA) and Performers Licentiate (Uni of SA)

There are 8 grades in piano. The examinations are set by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity. Trinity's music selection tends to be towards pop than classical in (ABRSM) you can not progress beond Grad 5 if you donít have grade 5 theory exam
