I studied Piano from the age of 7 and studied Music at Glasgow University, my main instruments being Piano and Voice.
From there, I played professional Keyboards with some of Scotland's most successful bands including Teenage Fanclub and BMX Bandits. During this period I recorded 8 commercially successful albums and toured the globe many times over, opening for acts such as Radiohead and REM.
For the last 10 years I have mainly been in teaching at Further Education level - for which I am fully teacher trained. I have taught Keyboards, Voice, Sound Production and Music Industry throughout this period as well as private pupils.
I love teaching - especially on a one-to-one basis and put absolutely everything into providing the most enjoyable and effective routes to success for my pupils - adapting approaches to meet their needs.
