I am a friendly and patient piano tutor with over 15 years� experience. I have a real passion for both my instrument and for teaching. I bring enthusiasm and a sense of exploration to each lesson and always ensure my pupils adopt good technique from the very start.

I teach across all age groups and styles, whether you are looking to provide your child a musical head start, fulfil your own ambition to play an instrument or undertake grades; I can help you realise your goal.

I appreciate the thought of learning anything new fills many people with anxiety. My first goal when meeting a pupil is to put them at ease, make them feel relaxed and happy to ask questions.

I have a 100% pass rate putting pupils through their grades with ABRSM (Associated Board for Royal Schools of Music)

I provide a visiting service and my prices are �15 for 30 minutes, �22.50 for 45 minutes and �30 for an hour. Please call me on 07792 625 644 to discuss your requirements in more depth.

Biography: I began my musical career as a performer in the 1980's, touring the UK and Germany for a number of years, playing many different styles of music from light classical to jazz and blues. I later began teaching and returned to full time education to complete my performance degree.

I now have over 15 years teaching experience with pupils of all ages. My youngest pupils at the moment are 6 although i have taught pupils as young as 5. My oldest pupils are in their 70's and enjoy playing for fun and to keep their minds active.

As well as providing a visiting service, I also teach piano as a peripatetic tutor at Riddlesdown Collegiate.

I teach beginners to grade 8 standard and am happy to say that all my pupils who have entered piano and theory exams have passed with flying colours, with most achieving distinction or merit.

I plan to return to piano performance next year to compliment my teaching practice, and look forward to introducing many more potential musicians to the joy of learning the piano.
