I hold a BA(hons), PGDipMus(Performance), MMus(Performance) and Certificate of Continued Education in Advanced Solo Performance in piano. I am an experienced teacher and performer and am currently based in the Muirieston area of Livingston. Comfortable teaching solo and chamber music repertoire from beginner to advanced/university level. Recently relocated so a few openings as of January 2011. Lessons start from just £10. Trial lessons, one-offs welcomed. Also exam accompaniment and rehearsals possible.

I have much experience in the areas of study and performance, and have performed professionally in many different areas including solo recitals, concerto performances, chamber music recitals, international competitions, film score recordings, studio recordings and contemporary music premiers. I believe that musical education should incorporate more than solely playing the piano and encourage my students to read literature, listen to recordings, watch visual recordings and attend concerts and recitals where appropriate.
