Creative, friendly, patient teacher with over 12 years' experience. My beautiful music room in Colinton is equipped with two pianos and a wealth of resources for exploring music. I teach all levels from beginners to diploma students.
Tailoring to each individual's needs and abilities, I cover not just music reading and piano technique but also improvisation, listening skills, composing, musicianship and musical understanding.
Grade exam preparation (for ABRSM or Trinity Guildhall) is an option for those who wish it. I also teach music theory to grade 8 level.
