Piano Teachers Giving Piano Lessons in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales

Hi, I’m Keyboard Karen and have been teaching Piano and Electronic Keyboard for 12 years in East Grinstead, and have taught ages 5 to 60++ years old! My belief is that making music should be for everyone and all capabilities; most importanty making music should be ENJOYABLE. With that in mind I use a varied approach to teaching and tailor lessons to each student.

In addition, I have taught students both through the Associated Board Programs (to Grade 8) and also the Electronic Keyboard through the old Trinity board. My musical education consists of having many years of piano lessons and achieving Grade 8 through the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music. I do like to encourage exams as it helps with motivation, but I do understand that it is not the right approach for everyone, especially, with regard to pupils who are learning music to help them relax and/or take their minds off more pressing things like school exams and work load.

My standard fees are £15 for a half an hour lesson at my house in the Gardenwood Area – ask for references.
