Even if music isn't a career choice, everyone can benefit from learning to play an instrument.

Some of my current pupils are adults who never had the opportunity to learn at an early age. Others are focussed on passing grades to improve UCAS points. Some of my younger pupils are learning just for fun!

I try to tailor my lessons in a way which will get the most out of an individual in terms of learning, development and enjoyment. I also encourage pupils to perform new pieces regularly; whether this is to parents and friends in the living room or in the school hall or at a gig.

For piano lessons, I am always happy to teach at a pupil's home. For organ lessons, I teach at St Giles' Church, Camberwell. I don't usually teach children under the age of 6; although you're never too old to learn!

I hold diplomas with both the Associated Board and the Guildhall Schools of music and can teach grades from either syllabus
