I am an experienced piano teacher ( both jazz and classical) and Associated Board Jazz examiner. I teach privately and also hold the post of head of jazz at Charterhouse school Godalming Surrey.I am a firm believer in making the learning process as fun as possible (people learn more this way!) and of ensuring that there is a sense of progression and development for all students. I have taught many students of all ages some of whom have gone into the music profession others who enjoy music as a hobby. My lessons are tailored to individual needs but you can expect a solid grounding in harmony, chords/chord symbols, improvisation,compostion etc I am also experienced in preparing students for exams (jazz and classical) if they so wish. I teach from my home studio or can come to you depending on your location.
