I am a student at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, offering one-to-one piano tuition to people of all ages, beginners to advanced. Students can chose to learn informally at their own pace with their own choice of material or work through the ABRSM graded exams, or indeed both! I'm also happy to give one off lessons to people preparing for auditions/exams/GCSE recitals etc. While music education is an important part of my studies at university, I have been teaching privately for over 4 years, and have had students achieve distinction at grade 8.

With regards to my approach to teaching, I favour lessons with an emphasis on musicality, technique, theory, and a wide variety of music. I firmly believe in a holistic, non-prescriptive approach to musical learning, and encouraging students to explore and discover their own musical interests. I am friendly and enthusiastic teacher, and I enjoy sharing my passion for music with others.

£25 for one hour
£20 if booked five lessons in advance

£15 for half an hour
£10 if booked five lessons in advance
