I am a professional classical pianist who is also a qualified, committed and enthusiastic piano teacher with ten years' piano teaching experience. A graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and a postgraduate of the Royal Academy of Music, I have since been employed as full-time piano accompanist at the renowned Chetham's School of Music in Manchester. Through this school and independently, I have featured as accompanist in the semi-finals and finals of the BBC 'Young Musicians' Competition. In addition, I perform as a freelance orchestral pianist for a few of the major British orchestras. Currently I am teaching piano at Eton College and I also teach privately to compliment my existing school work. I have a wide range of teaching materials to work with and repertoire to choose from, depending on the student's age and ability, and I teach all ages and all levels up to and including diploma.
