I graduated as a teacher in May 2000. I teach from my own home in Crompton Street, just off Writtle Road.

Piano & keyboard lessons are normally for an hour per week and are broken up into four sections: playing pieces, scales, ear-training and theory. I normally teach the ABRSM exams.

I am happy to offer lessons to those who only want music theory tuition. I also tutor for GCSE & A Level music/music technology.

Very young children or adults just playing for fun may need just 30 minute lessons.

I have experience of working with special needs children, inc. ADHD, autism & dyslexia.

I will teach children from the age of 5 upwards. Parents of young children are welcome to chaperone them during lessons. I am regularly CRB checked.

I keep a small supply of music books for lessons in stock, so students can buy them on the first lesson.

Please Note: I live in a 3rd floor flat. If ground access is an issue home visits might be possible but subject to availability.

I offer discounts for block bookings and also sell my lessons as gift certificates.

Normal Prices: £10 for 30 mins, £20 for 60 mins.
