Matthew teaches piano and theory from home (Cyncoed, Cardiff) in line with the ABRSM syllabus. He also offers tuition to those who want to learn for fun and personal achievement where examinations are not at the focus. Every pupil requires an individual teaching style appropriate to their goals.

Matthew teaches children from 7 years upwards and adults who are complete beginners or more advanced. Lessons last for half an hour at the fee of £10 or £18 for the full hour. The first lesson is free of charge and takes the form of an informal chat discussing possible outcomes with a parent present if they wish.
