Caroline Tyler, Concert Pianist and Teacher

Phil Jones Grade 8 piano. Classical performer.

The Bradley School of Music was established in 1987 by Cheryl Bradley after she studied for her diploma at the Royal Northern College of Music. The school now operates from two locations, and is amongst the few able to boast success rates that include 90% distinctions for their pupils’ grade exams. With its headquarters in High Wycombe, lessons are also held at the Brighton branch of the school, and are taught by Cheryl’s son, Phil Jones, from his family home on Round Hill Crescent.

Phil began learning to play the piano at the age of six, and went on to study under one of the Royal School of Music’s top teachers and performers, Valerie Childs. Since achieving his grade eight at the age of fourteen, he has gone on to combine a successful career in classical teaching with one in modern writing and production.

Lessons in Brighton are currently available on a Monday, Friday or Saturday, and cater to all ages and abilities. Phil teaches on an electric piano, and recommends that pupils have access to their own electric or acoustic piano for their first few grades, after which use of an acoustic piano is strongly recommended.

For booking inquiries or if you'd like to say hello please feel free to call Phil's wife Elizabeth, who will be happy to help, or to put you in touch with Phil directly.
