I am a highly experienced teacher and performer. I received a highly specialist musical education which I pass on to all of my students. I tailor my lessons to suit each individual student's needs. My students have ranged from complete beginner to diploma standard and from 5 years old plus.

Some of my students learn for a hobby and some intend to take it further. All can be catered for.

He was the youngest and only U.K entrant in the senior group to be selected for the “IV International Competition for Young Pianists in the Memory of Vladimir Horowitz” in Kiev, Ukraine and also received a diploma in the International competition “XXI-st Century Art and Education” in Copenhagen, Denmark and also gave concerts during his time over there. He was a first-prize winner at numerous festivals and has played in numerous recitals and charity concerts all around England. He also performed in a foyer concert at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester as part of the Piano 2000 festival promoted by Kathryn Stott.

He entered Chetham's School of Music, studying with Simon Bottomley. He graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with the Peter Franklin Award for distinction in recital studying with the renowned pianist and chamber musician Jeremy Young (Manchester Piano Trio) and received coaching from Christopher Rowland (Fitzwilliam Quartet) Emma Ferrand, William Howard (Schubert Ensemble), Julius Drake, Ian Brown and Kathryn Stott. Since graduating, besides performing in many solo concerts in the North West and London, he performed in public masterclasses with Peter Jablonski, Peter Donohoe, Stephen Hough, Mikhail Kazakevich, Piers Lane and Dmitri Alexeev, reached the finals of the BBC Fame Academy Bursary Award twice and also won the Franco-British Society’s Vlado Perlemuter Scholarship to study with Jean-Claude Pennetier at the L'academie Internationale De Musique Maurice Ravel in France and also a full scholarship to study with Brigitte Engerer at the 51st Académie Internationale d'Eté de Nice. He has also been awarded scholarships from the EMI’s Sound Foundation, the Rainford Trust and offered generous support from the RNIB’s Elizabeth Eagle-Bott Memorial Award to study an Advanced Postgraduate degree at Birmingham Conservatoire with the Head of Keyboard Malcolm Wilson and composer/pianist Philip Martin where he graduated with Distinction.

During his time in Birmingham Peter has performed Stravinsky’s “Concerto for Piano and Wind Instruments” with the Thallein Ensemble conducted by Nicholas Cleobury and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No 5 "Emperor" with the Queens Park Sinfonia conducted by Richard Laing. He took first prize in the Conservatoire’s Piano Prize and won the Elgar prize from the Elgar Society when asked to perform in the Elgar and Stravinsky Festival in Birmingham perf ...
