Luke Richard Phillips Grade 8 ABRSM Piano



Luke has been playing the piano for 21 years now and has over 5 years experience of teaching the piano in Birmingham and Solihull.

Luke is an adaptable and passionate piano teacher who thoroughly enjoys developing students musical ability on the piano.

Luke is able to teach the full ABRSM syllabuses for Piano (Grade 1-8) and also Jazz piano.

He also teaches a range of other styles from pop and rock piano to boogie woogie & jazz.

Luke's lessons are designed to be enouraging, challenging and most importantly...fun!

Utilizing the latest technology (iPad) coupled with traditional materials, learning the piano with Luke should be exciting and enriching.

Luke realises the need to maintain a rounded approach to learning the piano by teaching all aspects from sight reading and rhythm training to improvisation and duetting.

Luke currently has a 100% pass rate for all his students entered into exams and takes great pride in trying to maintain this by keeping his students motivated and focused to reach their next goal.
