Kat Perdikomati Dip (Piano) National Conservatoire of Athens



Kat is a qualified classically trained pianist; she graduated with distinction from the National Conservatoroire in Athens, Greece and has also studied with Prof. Christopher Elton, Head of Keyboard (Royal Academy of Music). She has performed solo, with ensembles and now composes and performs her own material. She currently teaches privately from her studio on a lovely upright Yamaha U3 and at Gillespie School in Islington (has also taught at Hap'ning Place in Haringey and Mossbourne Community Academy).
Her pupils have been consistently successful the ABRSM piano exams (100% success rate) and she is also available as accompanist for ABRSM/Trinity Guildhall exams - all levels. She teaches classical piano with emphasis on strong technique, but also covers contemporary music and can provide advice with song writing/arrangements/theory etc and general musicianship.

Kat has experience teaching children with learning difficulties and adults of all abilities and ages , including professional musicians and adapts her approach and style to suit her pupils' individual needs.

When she's not teaching Kat performs at events and private functions, as a solo pianist and also with her covers' band.
