Further Information:
Students travel to my house for lessons, where they are greeted with a warm welcome from my labrador (and me of course) and a cup of coffee. Parents of students are welcome to stay for the duration of the lesson, particularly those of younger children. I do not insist that pupils work towards examinations but rather that they learn to enjoy making music and and develop a passion for their instrument. After this grounding has been established working towards graded examinations is a natural progression for most students (I have a 100% success rate and most students pass with merit or distinction).

A music diary is provided which allows pupils to record their practise and facilitates teacher-parent dialogue. As far as possible I strive to lend pupils course materials.
