I have taught privately for 30 years. I teach all age groups and abilities, and have particular experience with special needs, especially Asperger's Syndrome and autism. I prepare students for ABRSM exams up to grade 8, having a 100% success record. I teach sightreading as a required skill from day 1, so all my students are good sightreaders, who develop a high attention to technical detail. Through jazz piano (optional), they also learn improvisation.

My terms are completely flexible, so you are not restricted to term time only and are not subject to penalties for missed lessons.

I can also offer singing lessons and multi-discipline lessons (especially useful for the youngest students).
