Bowling can be fun as long as you don't care about losing.
Distract yourself by buying as many 20p handfuls of Minstrels as possible

Find yourself a decent pub with an honest to god skittle alley, boy. Much more fun and the beer is drinkable as opposed to lager...

lol. good for you. some how, i think those pianos in some public restaurants and cafes are put there for everyone's enjoyment. that's why whenever there's a public piano i can use, i always try to play a song on it.

cheers!

I've had an idea to hire a market stall in my local small town of Royton and allow anyone to play it. Could result in some fun times

Grand pianos in front room windows are generally there for effect! I remember tuning a piano fresh from Horrids - white grand piano, in a bay window. 'Who plays?' I asked. 'O, nobody. We just thought the bay window needed a piano...'

I'm dyscalculic too, but sightreading's never been a problem for me. But whenever people say 'maths and music go together', I think of the poor maths teachers who eventually had to FORBID me to take maths O level and smile quietly...

Clever gizmo, but try to use just your brain. Otherwise you're just making the learning process longer! Mind you, it might be good to test yourself with....

In fact I've learned all there is to know about bright tones and mellow tones, but all I really wanted to know is how to play the things properly.
Not to mention the ones with the "good, crisp, bess" too, dave!

I was winding him up on another thread!
