Gair Cymraeg Y Dydd

Post by dave brum »

Dydd Mawrth, 12fed Awst

Arloesol = innovative, pioneering

Other words that stem from this could be arloesedd (innovation) or arloeswyr (pioneers)

Er enghraifft: Caiff £35 miliwn ei fudsoddi yn y Campws Arloesedd a Menter Newydd.
The world's unluckiest piano learner, quite possibly.

Ffa cyw = chick peas. Made me laugh. From a book called Travels In An Old Tongue. You'd like it - babout a woman travelling the world meeting disparate groups of Welsh speakers.

Before the Super Furry Animals became the Super Furry Animals they were known as Ffa Coffi Pawb, recording in Welsh only. It could mean 'coffee beans everyone' or something else.
