Sadly it gets worse. We have now dumped an Erard grand on top.
It arrived as a scrapper with no legs so it had to go. We kept it for 6 months wondering what to do with it but nobody was interested in having it, not even for free. So it had to go.

:idea: Ikea flatpack pianos ........... Screwdriver .... bit of glue .... and an allen key . Ikea-Goodwin flatpacks, has quite a nice ring about it !! :wink:
p.s. Did the Erard grand have a stupid little top prop in the bass end music desk guide ? :lol:

might have been handy though to allow the rainwater to run off it!!!!!

There could be an art in this. When I visited Piano Logistics last year, they had a row of pianos outside.... one in particular, every piece of celluloid curled off the keys, forming an interesting pattern - like a water lily!!
