JH's annual 'Hootenanny' is on again on New Years Eve, on BBC 2. I always try to record it. Kate Nash (British singer-pianist from London) was on there last year. I don't really like her but I'll watch anything piano related!
Yeah, i know i have to start somewhere.

Have a look also at 'the orb pulsating' I remember this outfit's session on the John Peel show on Radio 1 in 1990 - I had just left home and got a job up in Shrewsbury at the time. And I had a car!!!

The best mix is twenty minutes long and it's REALLY spaced out, Marius!!!!!!!

Hello again Marius!

Looked on the map of Norway. We visited Voss which is a couple of hours from Bergen, so not near you.

We hope to go back there.

How far along with your piano playing are you?

Do you have similar grades of exams in Norway?

Kim.

(Yes my name can sound Norwegian, especially if you say Kimmi!)

I started having lessons in April 2007. My husband bought me a good piano in August 2007. I took my first exam last month. I had no music knowledge before that so it has been difficult. I wish I had started when I was young.

But I had some money for my birthday so I've got to start shopping around for piano teachers in the New Year as I want to go back to having lessons. What teachers charge for a 1/2 hour lesson varies - you can get some teachers charging 9 pounds, and some charge as much as 15. Theres a database of music teachers in the UK that I use (musicteachers.co.uk)

How are you feeling Marius :piano; ?

That ribbe looks nice! What is it, meat or something like that? Do you not have like a really big special smorgasbord on Christmas lunchtime as I'd imagine there would not be much daylight on Christmas Day in Norway! In this part of the UK it usually starts to get dark around 15.45 on Christmas afternoon (on the 25th of June it would be around 22.00!)

Oh BTW Marius jkl did you send us a Christmas card? because if you did, we haven't had it :( but don't worry!
Haha! No camera is good! :)

Yeah, its meat from a pig. We have smorgasbord on Christmas lunchtime :)

It gets dark around 16.00 here also. So its almost like UK.
