Don't Give up the Day Job

Post by BRISTOL86 »

Just out of curiosity, what do my fellow pianists do for a living?

I'm training to be an accountant, I'm nearly finished with the AAT qualification and then hope to move on to Chartered Accountancy by studying for the ACCA qualification.

Your turn :D

Professionally, I'm an IT manager. Personally, I'm a wife, mother, cheesemaker and a wannabe smallholder, beekeeper and pianist

You chaps can dazzle me with qualifications, I just have my O'levels and they're marginal! I was always rubbish at exams.

Hi Martin,

I am a graphic designer / illustrator, I graduated last year worked for a bit and am unemployed at the moment . Im finding it realy hard to get my foot back in the door! :x :x. Its so annoying I have people to see, places to go... piano lessons, exams, and a nice upright I want to buy BUT my life is on hold at the moment!!!   so I am very frustrated. But I do find some solace learning the piano and talking to my piano mates on here!

Word of waring! Its a bad bad world out there!

Sorry, rant over.

Yeah, but its ok I really don't want to join face book. I would gladly give Kat my email if she wants to show me anything, or you could give it to her I don't mind.

I'm a teacher and have been teaching in the primary sector for the past six years, where, for my sins, I also hold the post of music co-ordinator.
