Connecting kn6000 to digital piano

I'm looking to purchase a Yamaha digital piano dgx-620 or dgx-630. What I need to find out is will I be able to send both left and right hand sections from my kn6000 to the Yamaha Piano including chord sections via midi. I wish to use piano hammer action type keys but still with the full range of options I have on my old kn6000.

As in the built in chord progressions? Not sure. I tried something like this with a Korg M1 to a Clavinova and it wouldn't transfer the demo. Mind you the chord progressions won't need as many MIDI channels for all the instruments.
