Hi,
has anyone ever tried playing Yamaha E-SEQ files (PianoSoft, Disk Orchestra) on Roland keyboards?

I don't think so Adrian...

The Rolands would have to be ESEQ compatible and as it's Yamaha specific file system, I'd imagine that only Yamahas could use the ESEQ files.

I have heard of a program called DOMSMF which can convert ESEQ files into SMF which another 'non-Yamaha' keyboard should be able to deal with.

I thought as much. Thanks for confirming it.
