Clavinova CLP340 or CLP370

I'm currently looking at buying a new digital piano, which I've now norrowed this down to either a CLP340 or CLP370.

It will only be used by meself and my daughter who are both learning to play, but I wanted to get something that I wouldn't need to upgrade too soon.

Basically, I like the 340, but was wondering if it's worth splashing out the extra £200 for the 370.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Well obviously I'm going to say that the CLP370 is a better instrument but their specs are very similar as you can see here: http://www.uk-piano.org/piano-forums/do ... &mode=view

The main difference between them is that the CLP370 has a more impressive looking case butmore importantly, uses the NW keyboard which helps make it a more expressive instrument. Try them side by side and compare. Some folks have said that, to their ears, the CLP340 does not have a positive sound output.

However, the main difference should only be noted in the keyboard action.

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice.

I'm now the proud owner of a CLP370 in Polished Ebony and loving every minute of it.

Sounds great, looks great and is living up to everything I expected.

Thanks Again,

Dazzos

That's great news!

Based on feedback from people on the forum, the CLP370 seems to be going down better than the mosre expensive CLP380.

Enjoy!
