I have heard about repeated complaints about the clunking noises the Casios make, particularly with reference to the PX range.

Unfortuntately, it seems to come down to the design of the keyboard action. It sounds like the key return action causes most of the noise. I remember Kurzweil keyboard owners complaining about the same kind of issue until they introduced the brand new PC3 with the improved key action. Clunking seems to be a thing of the past!

Casio keyboards always seem to be able to provide many instruments (but not all!) at very cheap prices and, not being a Casio fan to start with, I'm not surprised that this in manifesting in a poor and noisy keyboard action.

It seems to be a general thing among this range.
