Hi

I live in a small flat and want a small piano for myself and my 4 yr old daughter to learn on. I need something compact that will be out permanently so attractive. The Yamaha YDP S30R Digital Piano appears to be aimed at beginners and looks nice and discreet. Can anyone recommend this model and do they do it in ebony?

Any tips appreciated!

Thanks x

Only available in Dark Alder or Light Cherry! :(

You could find a YDP140 in the same price range.
On the other hand, you may find some local deals (if there are any left!) on the recently redundant CLP220, now replaced by the CLP320, etc.

YDP131 or YDP151 pianos are still around and personally, I'd rank them higher than the Yamaha YDP S30, but again it depends on the amount of space you have.

thanks x

I appreciate that. Costs availability and sizes of the others looked too prohibitive so I'll stick to my original choice - if either of us is any good will make the space and upgrade at a later date.
