looking for a review on amaha ydp131c

Post by b0mbtrack »

I'm thinking of buying the yamaha ydp131c because it sounds good and is in my price range. however, i can't find any real customer reviews and am wonding if anyone here owns it or has tried it, i'm mainly concerned with the feel of the action more than anything else.

ydp131

The ydp131 is a good little unit and the sample is excellent. However, it's worth trying the CLP 220. The 2 are very similar, try turning the volume to 0 and playing a chord. You will find there is alot of mechanical noise on the YDP.
Ther CLP220 uses proper bushings and piano felt. The upshot is less noise and a much longerlasting product.
