Yamaha GranTouch GT1 value?

Post by Trident »

Hello,

New here and unfortunately, I can't actually play a piano. A family member has recently had to go into a retirement home and now we have to sell his piano, a Yamaha GranTouch GT1. My question is, roughly what is this worth?

It appears to be in good condition and one prospective purchaser has played it and she seemed happy so I guess it's in good order. I've done some internet searching but there doesn't seem to be much online on this model. I found one for sale from a trade seller in the UK for £3000, one for sale in the Netherlands for €2800 and one for sale a few years ago in the US for €3000. Are we looking at a four figure price tag (in Pounds Sterling) or is three figures more realistic?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

regards

As stated in the blue header above, valuations (no matter how estimated or rough) cannot be given on this forum for specific pianos and models.
You will need to contact a digital piano technician/ expert (who buys and sells), or contact a piano shop/ retailer who specialise in this, and they may need to come out to inspect it, involving a call-out fee. The value will depend on its age, condition and the market value where you live.

Sorry, saw and read the main small print when I signed up, but didn't spot that at the top of the page. Seems difficult to find anyone in our area (West Sussex). We tried calling one piano shop and they made it clear they had no interest. I don't know how old it is, perhaps 15 years, or what it cost when new. There doesn't seem to be much information on this model on the internet.
