playing with tennis elbow

Hi everybody out there!
I am an adult (very) beginner (very) returning to playing (hopefully) after several months out due to chronic tennis elbow - right arm. I have now had an operation for this & I wanted to know what the realistic chances are for being able to play again in the future! Does anyone out there have any experience of this type of situation? Any advice welcome!

Has your doctor said that you can expect full movement once it is healed? If so, there's no reason why piano playing should cause problems. Just make sure you go through with the full physio program that they put you on.

Can you find a Bowen Technique practitioner out there? I would get tennis elbow a lot if it weren't for my Bowen Technique lady.
When you play, it's imperative that you keep your arms and shoulders as relaxed as you can. That should stop the tennis elbow from starting up. The other thing you could do is to see an Alexander Technique teacher who can teach you to sit well and use your muscles correctly.
