Post by Maggie »

We are thinking about enrolling our daughter onto a Suzuki Piano course and wondered if anyone has any advice for or against the methods used

They seem to get amazing results. My one reservation is that - for the string players, anyway, and I presume the piano is taught the same way -
the emphasis on training the ear can leave the pupils a little disadvantaged when it comes to sight-reading. Perhaps someone will come along with first-hand experience!

I would also like that answer.
Pianos are such dignified instruments - they're either upright or grand!
