Field Nocturne 4 ornaments and arpeggiation

Post by UKPiano1 »

I would like to know how to play the ornaments and arpeggiation found in the Kohler edition of Field Nocturne 4.

I have attached a score with the measures in question, and multiple-choice options for each ornament or arpeggiation. If there are other options I have not listed, please elaborate.

Measure 5 = C option

Measure 13 = A option

Measure 14 = A option

Measure 14b = neither
LH D should fall just before the beat, and just after RH D natural (semiquaver),
then LH F# and RH A falling on the beat....

you may also need to use some rubato/ expression so the notation is not strictly in time.

Hope that helps
