Domestic help have a habit of banging the corners of pianos and if its Polyester it will chip its one of my most common Polyester repairs

I think you should shift your piano to the next room or if there is no extra space in your home for piano, then you can shift it to your trustworthy friend's house. From this you can easily clean your carpet and save your piano from dusts.
